Position: Backend Developer Intern 📍 Location: Bangalore (On-site) 📅 Duration: 6 Months Company Overview We are a cutting-edge deep-tech startup pioneering the future of mobility with our comprehensive end-to-end EV Stack. As we rapidly scale, we’re seeking a driven Backend Developer Intern to join our tech team and help build scalable, cloud-native backend systems for next-gen EV applications. Role Summary As a Backend Developer Intern , you will be involved in designing, developing, testing, and deploying APIs and services that power our core platforms. You’ll work with a modern technology stack and gain hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, database systems, and production-grade backend development. Key Responsibilities Develop RESTful and asynchronous APIs using Python (FastAPI/Flask) Integrate and manage data with SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases Write clean, maintainable, and testable code Use Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration Deploy services using CI/CD pipelines and manage deployments on GCP Work with GCP tools such as BigQuery, Cloud Run, VPC, VM Instances, and Kubernetes Collaborate with frontend and product teams to build robust, scalable systems Troubleshoot and debug backend services in various environments Qualifications & Skills Required Final-year students or recent graduates in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields Strong proficiency in Python with experience in FastAPI or Flask Solid understanding of SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases Hands-on experience with Git and GitHub Exposure to GCP tools such as BigQuery, Cloud Run, VPC, VM Instances, and Kubernetes Problem-solving mindset and eagerness to work in a fast-paced startup environment Effective communication and teamwork skills Plus: Knowledge of Docker What We Offer Hands-on experience with real-world projects and cloud-scale systems Work closely with experienced engineers and tech leaders Exposure to modern tools, cloud-native services, and DevOps practices Flexible and supportive work environment Opportunity to convert to a full-time role based on performance Note: This is a paid internship.Skills: python,fastapi,mysql,flask,kubernetes,vm instances,nosql,bigquery,gcp,sql,postgresql,cloud,databases,cloud run,docker,vpc,github,git,mongodb
