Looking for candidate with experience in handling Microsoft Azure Security and Compliance.
· Strong knowledge of core Azure services for resource analysis, including Virtual Machines, Azure Container Instances, Azure SQL Database, App Services, Azure Storage (File and Blob), Azure Functions, and networking components such as Virtual Networks, Network Security Groups (NSGs), Azure Firewall, Virtual Network Gateways, Local Network Gateways, Azure Front Door, Recovery Services Vault, Azure Migrate, Azure Key Vault, and Microsoft Entra Domain Services.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Sentinel, Azure Key Vault, and Microsoft Entra ID.
· Implementing and managing security controls, threat protection, and incident response strategies.
· Configuring authentication protocols such as OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
· Monitoring logs and conducting auditing activities.
· Experience configuring and utilizing Azure Monitor to collect, analyze, and respond to telemetry data from Azure resources.
· Skilled in writing Kusto Query Language (KQL) queries for log analysis in Azure Log Analytics.
· Experience setting up audit logs to detect anomalies and unauthorized access.
· Expertise in Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Identity and Access Management (IAM).
· Ability to recommend identity security best practices within Microsoft Entra ID.
· Familiarity with Microsoft Purview for security and compliance optimization.
· Capability to analyze penetration test reports, prioritize vulnerabilities, and implement remediation measures.
· Skill in identifying underutilized or over-provisioned resources and advising on resource optimization.
