Optimum Data Analytics is a fast-growing data and AI consulting firm delivering innovative solutions to enterprise clients across industries. We specialize in data engineering, machine learning, and AI/GenAI-based platforms on cloud ecosystems.

Role Overview

We are looking for an

Azure Certified AI Engineer or Data Scientist with 4–6 years of experience to join our Pune office on a full-time, onsite C2H engagement.

The ideal candidate should be hands-on with building and deploying AI/ML solutions using Azure cloud services, and must hold an active Azure AI Engineer Associate or Azure Data Scientist Associate certification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy AI/ML models using Azure AI/ML Studio, Azure Machine Learning, and Azure Cognitive Services.
  • Implement and manage data pipelines, model training workflows, and ML lifecycle in the Azure ecosystem.
  • Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data, and deliver predictive insights.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and product teams to deliver scalable and production-ready AI solutions.
  • Ensure model monitoring, versioning, governance, and responsible AI practices are in place.
  • Contribute to solution documentation and technical architecture.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 4–6 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML, data science, or machine learning engineering.
  • Mandatory Certification:
  • Microsoft Azure AI Engineer Associate OR
  • Microsoft Azure Data Scientist Associate
  • Strong knowledge of Azure services: Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Services, Azure Functions, Data Factory, and Azure Storage.
  • Proficient in Python, with experience using ML libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of data science lifecycle, model evaluation, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with version control tools like Git and deployment through CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Good To Have

  • Familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, or GenAI tools (Azure OpenAI, Hugging Face).
  • Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools.
  • Exposure to MLOps tools and practices.
