Job Description: Showroom Sales Executive for a 3-Wheeler Automobile Dealership
Position: Marketing and Sales Executive
Location: Sagar Motors, Bhawarkua, Indore
Reports To: Sales Manager/Showroom Manager
Overview:The Showroom Sales Executive is responsible for assisting customers in selecting and purchasing 3-wheelers (auto rickshaws, electric rickshaws, etc.) in a dealership setting. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, managing product displays, conducting test rides, and handling all sales-related activities within the showroom. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, an understanding of 3-wheeler products, and a focus on customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:Customer Engagement and Sales:Greet and assist customers who visit the showroom, understand their needs, and recommend suitable 3-wheeler products based on their preferences and budget.
Conduct product demonstrations and explain the features, benefits, and specifications of various 3-wheeler models.
Guide customers through the entire purchasing process, from inquiry to final sale.
Encourage customers to take test drives and ensure they experience the performance of the vehicles.
Close sales by offering appropriate financing or payment options, and assist in completing the sales paperwork.
Ensure customers are fully satisfied with their purchases and address any concerns post-sale.
Product Knowledge and Market Trends:Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all available 3-wheeler models, features, pricing, and promotions.
Stay informed about market trends, new technologies, and competitor offerings in the 3-wheeler segment.
Communicate any new product launches, features, or updates to customers effectively.
Customer Relationship Management:Build long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and customer referrals.
Follow up with leads, prospective customers, and previous buyers to maintain a continuous pipeline of sales opportunities.
Assist in the collection of customer feedback to improve service and identify areas of improvement.
Sales Targets and Reporting:Meet or exceed individual and showroom sales targets and KPIs set by the Sales Manager.
Maintain accurate records of all sales, customer interactions, and follow-ups in the dealership's CRM system.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports as required by the Sales Manager.
Showroom Presentation and Operations:Ensure the showroom is well-maintained, clean, and visually appealing with proper product displays and signage.
Assist with the setup of promotional displays, vehicle presentations, and seasonal sales campaigns.
Ensure all vehicles in the showroom are in good condition and appropriately displayed.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve any issues in a professional and timely manner.
Collaboration and Teamwork:Work closely with other showroom sales executives and departments (such as service and parts) to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Collaborate with the sales team to share best practices, discuss strategies, and help meet collective sales goals.
Support promotional events, product launches, and community outreach activities organized by the dealership.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in sales, marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in automotive sales, preferably in a showroom environment (3-wheeler experience is a plus).
Strong interest in automobiles, specifically 3-wheelers or commercial vehicles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to understand customer needs and provide appropriate recommendations.
Skills and Abilities:Strong sales skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
Excellent product knowledge and the ability to learn new information quickly.
Ability to manage customer relationships and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Proficiency in using sales software, CRM tools, and basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, etc.).
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
