Job Description

Duties And Responsibilities

Financial Management

  • Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Support the monitoring of budget performance and identify variances for further analysis.
  • Collect, organise, and validate financial data from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage and oversee all financial operations for the assigned clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of financial data, using it to inform strategic decisions and improve financial performance.
  • Ensure healthy working capital management and accounting sub-module management including but not limited to Billing, AR, AP, T&E and Cashflow.

Client/Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as a key point of contact for financial matters with client, providing timely and accurate information on financial performance, budgets, and strategies. Actively listen to client needs and concerns, and address them promptly and effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment on financial goals, objectives, and strategies. Facilitate cross-functional communication and coordination to resolve financial issues and improve overall business performance.
  • Regularly communicate with clients to understand their business objectives and align financial strategies accordingly.

Data Management, Policies & Procedures and Audit

  • Ensure data integrity of the systems across the region and audit data from time to time
  • Ensure that appropriate process and system controls are in place and maintained to guarantee the integrity of all transactions
  • Ensure that all financial accounting and reporting is audit worthy and in keeping with recognized quality management processes
  • Ensure all finance staff are well trained on financial systems and effectively able to extract data from the system

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of accounting experience
  • Degree qualifications in Accountancy or similar field will be an advantage
  • Excellent analytical skills, with a strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Proficient in financial software and systems, with the ability to adapt to new technologies as needed.
  • Demonstrated experience with client reporting and preparation of reports
  • Has an eye for detail to ensure the best delivery of services
  • Goal-oriented, able to focus on meeting all performance targets
  • Capacity to deal with ambiguity and solve complex problems effectively
  • Proven ability to employ holistic approaches and looks at long term solutions
Excellent planning & organizational skills to prioritize work and meet tight deadlines
