Job Summary:

As an Application Engineer – CAM Software, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in CAM programming, post-processing, CNC machining, and software implementation. You will support customers in the evaluation, integration, and optimization of our CAM solutions, working closely with sales, product, and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

·Assist customers in troubleshooting machining or CAM-related issues and recommend best practices.

·Deliver software demonstrations, proof of concept, and application training to customers.

·Develop and customize post-processors for a variety of CNC machines.

·Collaborate with sales and marketing to support product promotions and customer engagement.

·Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support for CAM software products (e.g., Mastercam, Siemens NX CAM, Fusion 360, ESPRIT, etc.).

·Collaborate with sales and marketing to support product promotions and customer engagement.

·Stay updated with the latest manufacturing technologies, tools, and industry trends.

Qualifications:

Required:

·Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related field.

·2+ years of experience with CAM software and CNC programming.

·Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T.

·Strong understanding of machining processes (turning, milling, multi-axis, etc.).

·Hands-on experience with CNC machines and tooling.

Preferred:

·Experience with post-processor development and customization.

·Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).

·Strong presentation and customer communication skills.

·Ability to travel to customer sites as needed.

·Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.

·Strong organizational and time management abilities.
