Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team at Protekz. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with a proven ability to accurately record and analyze financial transactions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting. (Mandatory)
• Master’s degree (Preferred - MBA/MCom)
• 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting in a manufacturing firm. (Mandatory)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. (Mandatory)
• Proficiency in accounting software - Tally (Mandatory)
• Proficiency in accounting software - through ERP system.

Job Description:

Financial Analysis and Forecasting:

• Conduct monthly cash flow analysis to assess short-term financial health and liquidity.
• Compile and present financial data, including historical trends and future forecasts, for strategic decision-making.
• Develop and manage annual and departmental budgets, preparing regular reports to track progress and identify variances.

Accounting and Transactions:

• Manage salary and payroll processing, including deductions for ESI, PF, and other employee-related payments.
• Manage GST and other legal records of the company as per the factory rules and regulations. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and tax laws.
• Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
• Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements and accounts payable/receivable.

Financial Operations and Reporting:

• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports.
• Create accurate and detailed monthly provisional and quarterly balance sheets.

Communication and Collaboration:

• Communicate financial information clearly to management, departments, and stakeholders.
• Provide financial insights to inform decision-making.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations and alignment with organizational goals.

Professional Development:

• Stay updated on the latest accounting practices and regulations through training and development.
• Identify and implement financial improvements to enhance efficiency and profitability.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
