About the Role:
YouTube Manager
If you’re data-driven, obsessed with video SEO and storytelling, and passionate about scaling a high-impact B2B YouTube channel, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the
end-to-end YouTube strategy
– from content planning and scriptwriting to publishing and performance tracking. - Create a minimum of
5-8 engaging videos per week
, including explainers, product walkthroughs, interviews, tutorials, and Shorts. - Develop
video content calendars
aligned with product launches, campaigns, industry trends, and SEO goals. - Work with a team of
video editors, designers, and content writers
to deliver polished and impactful content on time. Innovate
and experiment with new content formats
, such as YouTube Shorts, live streams, and interactive videos to engage with a diverse audience and stay ahead of platform trends.- Optimize videos for
search and discovery
using strong SEO practices
(titles, tags, thumbnails, descriptions, playlists). Track and report
on key metrics like CTR, watch time, retention, and subscriber growth to inform future video strategies.Develop and implement advanced YouTube SEO strategies
, including keyword optimization, A/B testing of thumbnails/titles, and leveraging YouTube analytics to enhance content discoverability.Collaborate with marketing, branding, and communications teams
to ensure a unified content strategy and alignment with broader brand initiatives and marketing goals.- Actively
engage with the YouTube community
, responding to comments, feedback, and fostering meaningful discussions to enhance brand loyalty. - Stay updated on emerging trends, YouTube algorithm updates, monetization rules, and best practices for channel growth.
What You Bring:
3+ years of hands-on experience
managing a YouTube channel, ideally in a tech or B2B product space.Strong understanding of YouTube SEO
, video analytics, A/B testing of thumbnails/titles, and channel optimization strategies.- Proven experience producing both
long-form
and short-form (Shorts)
content at high frequency and quality. Creative and strategic thinker
with strong storytelling abilities and a knack for simplifying complex ideas.- Familiarity with tools like
YouTube Studio, VidIQ, TubeBuddy
, and video editing tools. Excellent planning and project management skills
– able to maintain a content calendar and delivery pipeline.Strong communication and copywriting skills
