Webkul - Full Stack Developer - PHP/CodeIgniter

About The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy dynamic web applications using PHP and modern frameworks (CodeIgniter, Laravel, etc.)
• Work on both front-end and back-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Troubleshoot and debug existing applications and provide solutions in a timely manner.
• Ensure performance, security, and scalability of web Skills & Qualifications :
• Strong understanding of PHP and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Hands-on experience with MVC frameworks CodeIgniter is mandatory; Laravel and CakePHP are a plus.
• Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.
• Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in MySQL with the ability to write and optimize queries.
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Minimum 2 completed projects in PHP are required to showcase Qualifications :
• Experience with front-end frameworks or tools (e.g., Bootstrap, Vue.js, React) is a plus.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Trello.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and basic server management (e.g., Apache, Nginx) is advantageous
