Our team architects and supports always-on VMware environments that form the backbone of modern digital businesses. Position: VMware Systems Engineer (On-Site, India) Role & Responsibilities Design, deploy, and upgrade VMware vSphere clusters, ESXi hosts, and vCenter appliances for high availability and performance. Automate provisioning, patching, and backup tasks using PowerCLI and infrastructure-as-code templates. Monitor capacity, performance, and security posture; troubleshoot VM, storage, and network incidents to root cause within SLA. Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans leveraging vSphere Replication, SRM, and multi-site architectures. Collaborate with storage, network, and security teams to optimize SAN/NAS integration, VLAN tagging, and micro-segmentation. Create technical documentation, runbooks, and mentor junior administrators on VMware best practices. Skills & Qualifications Must-Have 3-7 years hands-on managing enterprise VMware vSphere 6.x/7.x in production. Strong expertise with ESXi, vCenter, DRS, HA, vMotion, and VM templates. Proficiency in PowerCLI or other scripting for automation. Good grasp of IP networking, VLANs, and Fibre Channel / iSCSI storage concepts. Experience with backup and DR tools such as Veeam, SRM, or similar. Preferred VMware Certified Professional (VCP-DCV) or higher. Exposure to NSX-T, vRealize Operations, or Horizon VDI. Familiarity with public cloud VMware offerings (VMware Cloud on AWS, Azure VMware Solution).
