Job Description

Job Overview: The Payroll Auditor is responsible for reviewing and auditing the company’s payroll processes to ensure compliance and accuracy. This role involves verifying timesheets, payroll reports, as well as identifying discrepancies and recommending corrective actions to maintain seamless payroll operations. Key Responsibilities: · Audit payroll records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance · Review employee timesheets, wage rates, deductions, and benefits to verify the correct processing of payroll. · Identify and resolve discrepancies or errors in payroll data and report findings to HR or payroll teams for corrective action. · Assist with payroll-related inquiries from employees, management, etc. Qualifications: · Proven experience as a Payroll Auditor or in a similar payroll-related role. · Strong knowledge of payroll systems and labor laws. · Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills. · Proficient in using payroll software and Microsoft Excel. · Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams and address issues. · Previous experience in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
