Unit Manager

motivated and experienced Unit Manager to lead a team of insurance sales professionals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing a team of agents/advisors, achieving business targets, and ensuring excellent client service. This role plays a key part in the growth and profitability of the company. Key Responsibilities: Team Management & Development Recruit, train, and mentor insurance agents/advisors Monitor team performance and provide regular coaching Set individual targets aligned with organizational goals Sales & Business Development Drive sales through personal efforts and team productivity Achieve business targets in terms of premium, policies, and persistency Identify market opportunities and implement strategies to capitalize on them Client Relationship Management Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service Support agents in handling customer queries and claims Maintain strong long-term client relationships Reporting & Compliance Maintain accurate sales records and reports Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and compliance standards Monitor and manage risks associated with insurance sales Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field 3–5 years of experience in the insurance industry, preferably in a leadership or sales role Proven track record of achieving sales targets Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to motivate and manage a sales team effectively Preferred Skills: Knowledge of life/general insurance products Experience with CRM and sales tools Ability to analyze performance metrics and make data-driven decisions Work Environment: Full-time position May involve travel within the assigned region Office and field-based work Package 2LPA to 3 LPA based on Experience
