UI/UX Director/PM

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of UI/UX Design to lead and scale our design team. This role requires a strong strategic mindset, excellent leadership skills, and deep expertise in user-centered design principles. As a senior leader, you will drive the creative direction, usability, and aesthetic quality of our digital products to deliver outstanding customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and communicate a clear design vision aligned with business objectives and user needs.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of UI/UX designers, researchers, and interaction designers.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure design consistency across platforms.
• Oversee the creation of wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity designs for web, mobile, and emerging platforms.
• Conduct regular design reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Advocate for user-centered design practices throughout the organization.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, and drive innovation within the team.
• Establish and maintain design systems and style guides for scalability and consistency.
• Analyze user feedback and usage metrics to inform design improvements and future product strategy.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of delivering successful and impactful user experiences across digital products.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in visual design, interaction design, and user research.
• Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools like InVision or Framer.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in an agile environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Background in design for SaaS, mobile-first products, or enterprise software.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related field.
