Job Summary:

Textile Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the development, testing, and evaluation of textile materials used in protective wear.
• Work with cross-functional teams to design and improve fabrics that meet safety standards such as EN, ISO, and NFPA.
• Coordinate with suppliers and production units to ensure material specifications and timelines are met.
• Monitor and improve the quality and efficiency of textile manufacturing processes.
• Evaluate and implement sustainable and cost-effective fabric technologies.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, reports, and compliance records.
• Resolve any technical issues related to textile production or fabric performance.
• Conduct market and trend analysis to keep up with industry innovations and demands.

Candidate Profile:

• B.Tech / B.E. in Textile Engineering (mandatory)
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in technical textiles or protective clothing
• Strong knowledge of fabric construction, dyeing, finishing, and quality testing
• Familiarity with national and international safety standards (e.g., EN ISO 11612, 14116)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams
