About the Role:

Senior QA Engineer

You will work alongside developers, business analysts, and global QA team members to validate UI, API, and database components, create and execute test cases, and ensure high standards across the full software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
• Develop and execute manual and automated test scripts using

  Java, Selenium WebDriver, Eclipse IDE, and Maven

  .
• Perform

  UI, API, and database testing

  including

  JSON message validations

  and SQL queries.
• Collaborate with Scrum teams in an Agile environment to ensure quality at every stage of development.
• Validate production implementations and participate in post-deployment activities.
• Use tools such as

  JIRA, ALM

  for defect tracking and test case management.
• Generate clear and concise execution and status reports for stakeholders and senior management.
• Support globally distributed QA and development teams.
• Assist in identifying and resolving application and infrastructure issues.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 15+ years of experience

  in software testing with expertise in both manual and automated testing.
• Strong proficiency in

  Java programming

  , Selenium WebDriver, and test frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with

  test case management

  and

  defect tracking tools

  like ALM and JIRA.
• Deep knowledge of

  Agile/Scrum methodologies

  and SDLC phases.
• Working experience with

  Mainframe C3 applications

  .
• Solid understanding of database concepts and experience with

  SQL

  .
• Strong grasp of

  API testing

  , including

  JSON message validation

  .
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the

  Cards/Payments domain

  is

  required

  .
• QA Certifications (ISTQB, CSTE, etc.) are a plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
