Technical Project Manager

Reporting To: Head of Engineering / CTO

Experience: 6+ years (minimum 2 years in a leadership/project management role)

About the Role:

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to lead and coordinate a team of cross-functional tech leads across iOS, Android, Frontend, Backend, and QA teams. This individual will ensure smooth delivery of sprint commitments, manage timelines, resolve day-to-day issues, and maintain seamless communication between the teams and stakeholders. This is a leadership role requiring strong technical insight, people management, and client handling capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution

- Create sprint plans, user stories, and define clear timelines in collaboration with Tech Leads.

- Monitor sprint progress, adjust timelines proactively, and ensure on-time deliveries.

- Define project scope, objectives, and success metrics in line with business goals.

Team Leadership & Coordination

- Supervise and coordinate with 5 Tech Leads (iOS, Android, Frontend, Backend, Testing), each managing 4–5 engineers.

- Be the go-to person for team escalations, conflicts, and blockers.

- Foster collaboration between teams, ensuring dependencies are handled efficiently.

- Inspire and build trust among the team; act as a mentor and problem solver.

Communication & Stakeholder Management

- Serve as the primary point of contact between technical teams and business stakeholders.

- Communicate project status, risks, and resolutions effectively to clients and internal stakeholders.

- Host regular stand-ups, sprint retrospectives, and planning meetings.

Risk & Issue Management

- Identify bottlenecks, tech debt, and risks early.

- Address and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or scope.

- Ensure corrective actions are implemented without affecting project quality.

Required Skills:

- Proven experience managing multiple technical teams in an agile environment.

- Strong understanding of SDLC, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and delivery tracking.

- Experience working with tools like Jira, Trello, ClickUp, Confluence, or similar.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to handle client escalations and drive resolutions confidently.

- Solid technical understanding of mobile apps, web platforms, APIs, and QA processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

- Scrum Master / PMP / Agile certifications preferred.

- Hands-on experience in a development role (e.g., frontend/backend/mobile) is a plus.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
