Product Owner (PO)

Responsibilities

• Analyzing the market & customer requirements, alongside the product manager, design future capabilities and translate those into clear stories and corresponding acceptance criteria for the technical team.
• Write detailed & high-quality product requirements and user stories.
• Work closely with Engineering teams through development using agile methodology including determining scope and priorities for product development cycles.
• Accept/Reject completed user stories.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog.
• Foster collaboration between Engineering and Product teams.
• Participate in customer requirements discussions.
  

Essential Requirements

• Overall 8-10 years’ experience
• Relevant academic background (degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent)
• At least 2 years’ experience as a technical PO, developer, or other hands-on role, to enable effective communication with all stakeholders.
• 3 years’ experience as a requirements analyst/product owner/system engineer in a software company.
• Experience in designing end-to-end product solutions.
• Technical - Java 11 , JSP/Angular UI, Microservices, Kafka, Apache Camel, Vert.X, PostgreSQL, Oracle, K8S, App Server (JBoss/WildFly), MQ, Grafana, Prometheus, DevOps practices .
  

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent grasp in English.
• Excellent interpersonal & leadership skills.
• Self-starter, able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment independently with minimal guidance.
• Experience in agile development – preferred.
• Experience in Payments/ Financial industry - preferred.
