Technical Practice Head

Job Title: Practice Head - Automotive Embedded Middleware

Location: Pune / Bangalore

Work Experience: 18 yrs & above

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement a strategic plan for Automotive Embedded Middleware offerings, aligned with the organization's overall goals and objectives.

2. Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure the successful design, development, and deployment of Automotive Embedded Middleware solutions, including Autosar, Opensource, BSP, OS, Android Auto and associated technologies.

3. Team Management: Lead and manage a team of engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and delivery of Automotive Embedded Middleware projects.

4. Customer Engagement: Collaborate with customers to understand their requirements and provide solutions that meet their needs, ensuring high customer satisfaction.

5. Partnership and Collaboration: Foster partnerships with other teams, departments, and external partners to leverage expertise, resources, and best practices in Automotive Embedded Middleware.

6. Innovation and R&D: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Automotive Embedded Middleware and identify opportunities for innovation, research, and development to drive business growth.

7. Quality and Compliance: Ensure that Automotive Embedded Middleware solutions meet the required quality, safety, and security standards, as well as comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.

8. Budgeting and Cost Management: Manage budgets and costs associated with Automotive Embedded Middleware projects, ensuring effective resource allocation and ROI.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Technical Expertise: Strong technical background in Automotive Embedded Middleware, including Autosar, Opensource, BSP, OS, Android Auto, and software development. Understanding and exposure working on / with semiconductor MCUs and SoCs like Qualcomm, TI, NXP, Infineon will be highly preferred.

2. Leadership and Management: Proven experience in leading and managing teams, with excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.

3. Business Acumen: Solid understanding of business operations, market trends, and customer needs, with the ability to drive business growth and revenue.

4. Communication: Strong value articulation skills (both verbal and written) with demonstrated ability to engage with customer and eco-system stakeholders.

5. Collaboration and Partnership: Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.

6. Innovation and Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and drive innovation.

Tools and Technologies:

1. Automotive Embedded Middleware: Proficiency in Automotive Embedded Middleware technologies, including Autosar (AUTOSAR Classic, AUTOSAR Adaptive), Opensource, BSP, OS, and Android Auto.

2. Software Development: Familiarity with software development methodologies, such as Agile, and programming languages, such as C, C++, and Python.

3. Automotive Systems: Knowledge of automotive systems, including ECUs, networks, and protocols.
