Job Summary

Mandatory Skills - Java Spring Hibernate Springboot Gitlab AWS REST and SOAP APIs Oracle DB

Responsibilities

Desired Skills - React Lambdas ToscaWorks with onshore and offshore teams to meet and deliver planned releases in an Agile environmentGains business domain knowledge/expertise and application know-how by working with business and technical teamsCollaborates with other developers as well and technical leads architects business requirement analysts QA and Performance testers and project managersKnowledge of Cloud Development (i.e. AWS Lambdas Containerization via Springboot etc)Automate tests at the system level (Business Logic Contract Visual Accessibility Performance etc) using TOSCAWork with the development and operations teams to debug testing failuresImprove maintain and execute automated testingDecompose user stories/requirements to identify what tests need to be created and automated for system level testing (Business Logic Contract Visual Accessibility Performance)Provides significant contributions developing solutions as well as resolving business client questions problems and addressing enhancement needsUses technical knowledge creativity and company practices guidelines and priorities to obtain simple solutions to complex problemsInteracts directly with offshore developers and business clientsServes as a mentor to lower-level developersAnalyze requirements and user stories to help with defining the acceptance criteria for the features that are being developedWork closely with the Product/Project team to understand their expectations of how a feature would function

Qualifications

Primary/Core Skills -5+ years hands-on development experience with core Java J2EE (Servlets JSP JDBC JMS Spring MVC JPA Hibernate Log4J)Experience with RESTful and SOAP web services in particular designing/developing web service APIsExperience using automation tools (TOSCA)Experience with Web front end design/development (JSP JavaScript XML HTML CSS3)Experience decomposing user stories/requirements to create automated tests (Business Logic Contract Visual Accessibility Performance etc)API automation using SOAPUI Groovy and Advance REST ClientAWS/Lambda knowledgeApigee integrationExperience in application migrations to the cloud specifically AWSExcellent debugging and troubleshooting skills for Java JavaScript Spring Hibernate and SQL using an IDE such as Eclipse and Oracle DeveloperExperience developing Maven-based applicationsGood working knowledge of version control tools such as Git/GitlabExperience with Apache CXFWeb service authenticationExperience with SQL development on an Oracle DatabaseProficiency with Unix/Linux commands shell scripts and applicationsExperience writing tests in the following programming languages- java J2EESecondary SkillsFamiliarity with Oracle WebLogic Application Server (Admin Console configuration runtime)Working knowledge of Oracle CoherenceExperience with single Sign-On (SAML)Experience with WAR file deployment in WebLogic Admin ConsoleExperience with technologies like- BitBucket Jenkins Test Case Management tools (qTest)Experience using other automation frameworks like UFT QTP/UFT Rational Silk Automation AnywhereNice to haveTicket/Change Request creation and follow up with ServiceNowExperience with offshore coordinationSolid understanding of design patterns (GOF patterns and preferably other Design/Architecture/Infrastructure patterns) as well as refactoring
