Technical Head

· Technical Strategy and Leadership:

· Develop and implement the overall technical strategy for solar energy projects.

· Lead and mentor engineering and technology teams.

· Oversee R&D efforts to improve solar technologies.

· Ensure the technical feasibility and sustainability of solar projects.

· Monitor industry trends and ensure the company stays at the forefront of solar technology.

· Project Management and Execution:

· Oversee the design and engineering of solar PV systems.

· Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies.

· Develop project plans, including system specifications, electrical schematics, and installation guidelines.

· Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including project managers and installers.

· Oversee construction quality assurance, commissioning, and grid connection processes.

· Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

· Compliance and Regulatory Affairs:

· Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.

· Maintain detailed technical documentation and reports.

· Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure compliance.

· Quality Assurance and Performance Optimization:

· Conduct energy yield analysis and optimize existing solar systems.

· Perform system performance analysis and fault diagnostics.

· Develop and implement quality control procedures.

· Team Management and Development:

· Manage and mentor technical teams, including engineers, technicians, and installers.

· Foster a culture of innovation, safety, and continuous improvement.

· Stakeholder Management:

· Act as the technical point of contact for stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies.

· Communicate technical information effectively and address concerns.

· Financial Management:

· Manage the technology budget and allocate resources effectively.

· Ensure projects are cost-effective.

· Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

· Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement.

· Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in solar technology.

Specific Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Renewable Energy Engineering is typically required.
• Specialized Master's degrees in Solar Energy or related fields can be advantageous.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in the solar industry, with a focus on design, installation, and/or maintenance of solar PV systems.
• Hands-on experience with MW-scale solar projects is often preferred.
• Proven experience in managing and leading engineering teams.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of solar PV system design principles, component selection, and installation procedures.
• Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, Primavera, or MS Project.
• Knowledge of electrical system design, load calculations, and energy yield assessment.
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards, including NEC, IEEE, and local regulations.
• Project Management Skills:
• Ability to manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
• Experience in coordinating with cross-functional teams, including procurement, execution, and senior leadership.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address technical and operational challenges.
• Leadership and Communication Skills:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
• Proven ability to motivate and guide a team towards successful project outcomes.
• Other Important Skills:
• Knowledge of quality assurance and certification standards.
• Familiarity with safety compliance standards.
• Understanding of grid connection requirements and plant control philosophy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
