We're Hiring: Assistant Technical Design Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Review tech packs, sketches, and measurements to ensure sampling accuracy.
• Conduct fit sessions to evaluate garment fit, comfort, and silhouette.
• Collaborate with pattern makers to refine specs and improve construction.
• Provide detailed fit comments in buyer-specified formats and track sample iterations.
• Verify garment measurements against size charts and buyer specifications.
• Create vendor-owned tech packs and measurement charts aligned with customer guidelines.
• Approve production tech packs and upload documentation to buyer portals.
• Partner with production teams to resolve fit issues during pre-production and bulk stages.
• Maintain accurate records of fit evaluations, approvals, and technical updates.
• Offer fit insights during new product development and support ongoing technical improvements.
• Adhere to compliance and safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Follow 5S and lean principles to support continuous improvement.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

Education:

• Diploma or higher in a relevant field.

Work Experience:

• 15+ years in the garment industry, with progressive experience from Sample Tailor to Assistant Technical Design Manager.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of garment construction and measurement specifications.
• Familiarity with CAD software and 3D fit analysis.
• Experience with buyer-specific documentation and portals.

Soft Skills:

• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communicator and team collaborator.
• Proficient in presenting technical information using PowerPoint.

Linguistic Ability:

• Good command of English; fluency in additional languages is a plus.
