Inviting applications for the role of Technical Associate – Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Administrator

The Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Administrator is responsible for designing, deploying, managing, and optimizing the organization's Azure Virtual Desktop environment. This role ensures secure, scalable, and high-performing virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) to support remote and hybrid workforces. HE / She collaborates with IT teams, including Infrastructure, Network, CloudOps, and external vendors, to maintain system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices for AVD solutions. Additionally, the role involves conducting assessments for new site onboarding, performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and driving AVD-related projects initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
    Monitor AVD performance, capacity, and usage to ensure high availability and scalability.
    Apply patches, updates, and security configurations to AVD components and related infrastructure.
    Conduct regular audits and vulnerability assessments of the AVD environment.
    Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues escalated from L1/L2 support teams.
    Document troubleshooting processes and maintain knowledge base articles for L1/L2 teams.
    Coordinate with Infrastructure, Network, and CloudOps teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of AVD environments.
    Work with external vendors to configure systems, resolve technical issues, and procure necessary services or tools.
    Facilitate cross-team communication to align AVD configurations with organizational IT strategies.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum qualifications / Skills
    Bachelor's Degree required. Preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Preferred qualifications / Skills
    Understanding of Infra & networking concepts (VPN, VNet, ExpressRoute, DNS).
    Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., ITIL).
