Ambit provides remote accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, and tax return preparation services for CPA firms and businesses in the United States. With our operations heavily reliant on secure IT infrastructure, we are expanding our internal support team with a technically skilled professional who can manage systems and security.

Role Overview

We are looking for a reliable Hardware cum Software Support Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and office peripherals.
• Install, update, and maintain software including Microsoft Office, antivirus, and accounting tools.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot 

  firewalls

   (e.g., Watchguard, FortiGate, SonicWall, pfSense) to maintain secure access and compliance.
• Manage user accounts, email configurations, and access permissions.
• Monitor LAN/WAN connectivity and coordinate with ISPs and external vendors.
• Set up secure VPNs, remote access tools (RDP, TeamViewer, AnyDesk) for offshore teams.
• Maintain IT inventory, perform system backups, and track security updates.
• Ensure adherence to internal data protection and cybersecurity protocols.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years of experience in IT support roles.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, networking, and endpoint security.

• Hands-on experience with firewall configuration

   and management.
• Ability to work independently and resolve technical issues quickly.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in CCNA, Network+, or firewall-specific credentials (Fortinet NSE, etc.) is a plus.
• Exposure to IT environments supporting accounting or BPO services is preferred.
