Job Title: Security SupervisorKey Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership and Supervision:
  • Supervise and manage a team of security personnel, including security guards and officers.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff to ensure they understand security protocols and adhere to them.
  • Maintain discipline and enforce uniform policies for security staff.
  • Monitoring and Surveillance:
  • Ensure all security systems (CCTV, alarms, access control) are functional and regularly monitored.
  • Conduct regular patrols around the premises (internal and external) to deter unauthorized access and identify potential risks.
  • Respond to incidents and security breaches, ensuring the safety of individuals and property.
  • Incident Management:
  • Act as the first point of contact during security-related emergencies, such as theft, fire, or medical issues.
  • Report all incidents and suspicious activities immediately to the higher management or local authorities when necessary.
  • Prepare and submit detailed incident reports for record-keeping and investigation purposes.
  • Access Control and Visitor Management:
  • Oversee the access control system to ensure only authorized personnel are allowed entry into restricted areas.
  • Manage the visitor entry/exit process, ensuring guests are properly logged and escorted as needed.
  • Monitor staff and contractor identification badges to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Safety Inspections and Risk Assessment:
  • Conduct routine safety inspections to identify and mitigate any hazards or risks to the property and personnel.
  • Collaborate with management to assess security protocols and update them as needed based on new risks or threats.
  • Emergency Response and Drills:
  • Lead and organize regular security drills (fire drills, evacuation procedures) for all employees to prepare for emergencies.
  • Ensure staff is trained in first aid, fire safety, and emergency response procedures.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
  • Maintain daily logs of security activities, incidents, and observations.
  • Report discrepancies, security concerns, or damages to management on a timely basis.
  • Ensure all security records are properly archived and available for review when needed.
  • Collaboration with Local Authorities:
  • Maintain good working relationships with local police, fire departments, and emergency services.
  • Coordinate with law enforcement during investigations or in case of security threats.
  • Maintain Security Equipment:
  • Regularly check and ensure the functionality of security equipment, including alarms, CCTV cameras, locks, and lighting.
  • Report any faulty equipment to the management and ensure repairs are done in a timely manner.
  • Inventory and Asset Protection:
  • Monitor and safeguard valuable assets and inventory to prevent theft or damage.
  • Ensure that all valuable equipment and documents are securely stored and accessible only to authorized personnel.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (A degree or diploma in security management is a plus).
  • Prior experience in a security role (preferably as a security officer or supervisor).
  • Basic knowledge of surveillance systems, alarm systems, and access control technologies.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with staff, visitors, and authorities.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and during emergencies.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Physical fitness to conduct regular patrols and inspections.
  • A valid driver’s license and transportation (if applicable).
  • Knowledge of local laws and regulations related to security practices.

Preferred Skills:

  • First aid and CPR certification.
  • Previous experience in managing security teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
