Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated SQL Developer to join our remote development team. You will play a key role in managing and optimizing our data systems, writing efficient SQL queries, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures
• Design and manage relational database structures and data models
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources
• Collaborate with analysts and developers to support reporting and analytics
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and performance in database operations
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues
• Document database processes and workflows

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Strong understanding of SQL and relational database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MS SQL Server
• Experience in writing complex queries, joins, and subqueries
• Familiarity with database design principles and indexing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with version control (e.g., Git)
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup

Nice to Have:

• Experience with ETL tools or data pipelines
• Familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Basic understanding of scripting languages like Python
• Knowledge of stored procedures, triggers, and performance tuning
