Our team is looking for a Software Engineer to help develop a world-class, customer-centered engineering infrastructure. You will work with Azure CXP Program Managers and Data Scientists as well as other Azure engineering teams and the Field, Marketing and Support organizations to define and deliver critical, customer-facing features and the tools, infrastructure and end-to-end solutions required for all the rapidly expanding programs in Azure CXP. In this role, you will need strong customer empathy and an ability to focus our engineering efforts on Azure’s business priorities. Please find the details of the responsibilities.
Engineering Excellence: Apply best practices to build reliable code, ensure compliance with global and local regulations, support cross-team collaboration, and contribute to automation and performance improvements.
Implementation: Assist in breaking down work items, estimating tasks, and deploying features safely while considering user impact and service dependencies.
User Requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and incorporate user feedback, establish continuous feedback loops, and align features with customer value and usage patterns.
Coding: Write maintainable and extensible code, participate in code reviews, apply debugging tools and telemetry to proactively and reactively address issues, and follow Microsoft’s coding standards.
Design: Support design documentation, identify dependencies, test design hypotheses, and ensure security and compliance in system architecture while planning for quality assurance and automation.
Reliability and Supportability: Monitor system health, act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) for live site issues, contribute to telemetry instrumentation, and escalate complex problems appropriately.
