About the Role

We are seeking an experienced MuleSoft Developer with a strong background in integration, APIs, and enterprise solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in MuleSoft ESB, Java, and related technologies, with the ability to work in an Agile environment and deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement services and integrations using the MuleSoft ESB platform (Mule 3.x and 4.x).

Participate in requirements gathering, story refinement, and effort estimation.

Develop and unit test solutions in alignment with defined acceptance criteria.

Execute automated test suites including integration, regression, and performance testing.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues across non-production and production environments.

Support migration from Mule 3.x to Mule 4.x (advantageous).

Document technical solutions, deployment steps, and maintenance procedures.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring adherence to best practices, processes, and release cadence.

Proactively contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.

Provide technical support and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.

6+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in MuleSoft development.

Strong expertise in MuleSoft ESB (3.x & 4.x).

Proficiency in Java, Spring, Hibernate, XML (XPATH/XQuery).

Experience with SOAP & REST web services and SOA/Integration patterns.

Knowledge of SQL; experience with Oracle Database is a plus.

Hands-on experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, Bash Shell scripting.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile project delivery.

Exposure to JavaScript frameworks (Angular/React) is preferred.

Knowledge of drools integration is an advantage.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and learn new tools/technologies quickly.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Migration experience from Mule 3.x to Mule 4.x.

Familiarity with DevOps practices and automation.

Experience in enterprise-scale integration projects.
