Position Overview

Software developers build our trading platforms to compete with the best systems from across the globe. You will be given an encouraging environment to deliver excellence; with the caveat that our business can only accommodate the best. 

• Develop fast, low-latency systems for quantitative analysis and trading. Latency measured in nanoseconds (one thousand-millionth of a second). 
• Deliver reliable software with bug threshold of 1 per 1200 lines of code. 
• The quality of code is rated by its readers, not by its writers. Write readable code which self-explains - not requiring bulky documentation. 
• Collaborate with team members and show evidence of delivering solutions to business requirements. 
• Communicate effectively without jargon. Verbal and written. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, statistics, or a related field. Rigor of advanced degrees and coding competitions preferred. 
• 2-4 years experience in high performance computing to meet our reliability/latency needs. 
• Advanced programming skills in one of C++, Python, Rust or Java 
• Understanding JavaScript, Node, React, HTML, SQL, Linux, async-design, OO patterns. 
• Evidence of strong skills in mathematics, algorithms, or computational complexity. 
• Excellent written/verbal communication which is apparent in our first interaction. 
• Familiarity with stocks, derivatives, exchanges, risk assessment.
