Responsibilities

• Architect and design scalable and efficient data solutions using Snowflake cloud data platform.
• Data access controls and design in Snowflake.
• Lead the development and implementation of Snowflake-based data architectures.
• SQL, Unix Shell/Python Scripting
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Provide guidance and best practices for data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration.
• Optimize Snowflake environments for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure data security, compliance, and governance standards are met.
• Stay updated on Snowflake features, industry trends, and best practices.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 8 + years of proficiency in deploying large scale data-centric solutions.
• 3 + years of architecting and building solutions on Snowflake.
• Experience with technology implementation planning, and architecting data integration processes.
• Expert in Snowflake data modeling, ELT using Snowpipe, implementing stored procedures, and standard Data Warehouse (DWH) and Extract, Load, Transform (ETL) concepts.
• Mastery of Snowflake concepts such as configuring resource monitors, implementing Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) controls, managing virtual warehouses, optimizing query performance, zero copy clone, time travel, and proficiently utilizing these features.
• Proficient in Data Migration from Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) to Snowflake cloud data warehouse.
• Familiarity with enterprise cloud economics – AWS / Azure / GCP.
• Familiarity with Python and PySpark
• Solid understanding of enterprise data management concepts including Data Governance, Data Engineering, Data Science, Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Sharing, and Data Applications.
• Strong Hands-on experience with SQL and SQL driven analysis.
• Snowflake Certified Architect (preferable)
