ServiceNow Business Analyst

ServiceNow modules

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for ServiceNow modules (e.g.,

    ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM

    ).
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications,

    user stories

    , and

    acceptance criteria

    .
  • Perform

    gap analysis

    , assess business impact, and define solution approaches.
  • Collaborate closely with ServiceNow developers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure business alignment and platform integrity.
  • Drive and support

    Agile ceremonies

    (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives).
  • Prepare and manage

    UAT

    test cases, coordinate execution, and ensure issues are resolved.
  • Maintain and prioritize the

    product backlog

    based on business needs and technical inputs.
  • Develop

    training materials

    , conduct end-user sessions, and ensure documentation is up to date.
  • Track and report project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in

    Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration

    , or related field.
  • Minimum

    6 years

    of Business Analysis experience with at least

    2 years on the ServiceNow platform

    .
  • Proven experience with

    ServiceNow modules

    :

    ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HRSD

    .
  • Familiarity with additional modules like

    Service Mapping, FSO, S2P

    is a strong advantage.
  • Strong understanding of

    Agile methodologies

    (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Proficient in documenting

    user stories, use cases, process flows

    , and requirements.
  • Experience in enterprise ServiceNow implementations or enhancements.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented, and results-focused.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator

    or relevant certifications.
  • Experience with Agile tools like

    Jira, Azure DevOps, or Rally

    .
  • Familiarity with

    ITIL practices

    and frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
