Senior Technical Lead

Principle Duties:

• Provides enabling leadership for one or more delivery teams; facilitating all Agile ceremonies, guiding process improvements, and ensuring all feedback loops are operating at optimal levels.
• Partners with Technical Product Owners and other key stakeholders to achieve desired business outcomes by delivering working software on a regular cadence. Leads trade-off discussions and develops alternatives when encountering barriers such as resource constraints. Must have flexibility and experience to shift between traditional and Agile frameworks.
• Develops detailed delivery plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Facilitates team development through all phases of the team cycle to form high-performing teams (Forming, Storming, Norming, Performing).
• Coaches and trains new and existing team members on Agile principles to ensure consistency and improve overall productivity, quality, and continuous delivery.
• Monitors, tracks, and reports on Agile metrics to provide visibility, increase productivity and optimize delivery.
• Applies organizational change management methods to build awareness and understanding of Agile principles and facilitates adoption across the enterprise.
• May include people management responsibilities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
  

Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ years' relevant experience in software development
• Proven experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., ADO, Confluence)
  

Preferred:

• 5 years in a delivery lead role
• Agile Certifications (e.g., Product Owner)
• 3+ years leadership experience in an agile and/or hybrid environment

• Exceptional ability to liaise with individuals across a wide variety of operational, functional, and technical disciplines.
• Expert ability to work well within and manage a team. Demonstrates the ability to lead, mentor and develop associates.
• Expert ability to foster a teamwork and customer service focused environment.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills demonstrating the ability to convey information in a way that is meaningful and well received by the team members and project stakeholders, including customers and associates.
• Fluent in software development methodologies and best practices.
• Fluent in relevant tools and platforms (e.g., cloud platforms, web technologies, client-server technologies, continuous integration, and deployment), with an eagerness to learn about new and unfamiliar technologies.
