Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries and stored procedures for large-scale datasets.
• Write clean, efficient, and scalable Python code to automate data processing and analysis workflows.
• Design and build interactive and insightful dashboards and reports using visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or equivalent).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Perform advanced data analysis and statistical modeling to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
• Lead data quality assurance efforts and troubleshoot data discrepancies.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to best practices in data analytics and visualization.
  

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis or data science roles.
• Expert-level proficiency in SQL, including query optimization and performance tuning.
• Strong programming skills in Python with experience in libraries such as pandas, NumPy, matplotlib, seaborn, and scikit-learn.
• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Experience working with large and complex datasets.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead analytical projects.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of machine learning techniques and algorithms.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
