Job Title :: Senior Kafka Engineer Location :: Bengaluru, India (Remote) Note :: Minimum 7 years of relevant experience Must have banking domain experience Only Immediate Joiners Job Description: Design, develop, and implement real-time data streaming solutions using Apache Kafka and Apache Flink, focusing on Java-based stream processing. Build and optimize data pipelines to enable reliable ingestion from Precisely into MongoDB via Kafka topics and Flink jobs. Leverage Confluent Cloud features, including Schema Registry, Kafka Connect, and data contract enforcement. Ensure proper schema versioning and compatibility using Avro/Protobuf. Implement DevSecOps best practices by integrating pipelines into CI/CD workflows and enabling automated testing, deployment, and schema governance. Configure Dynatrace and other observability tools for monitoring throughput, latency, windowing, and watermarking operations. Optimise Flink applications for performance and scalability through event time processing, checkpointing, and stateful stream management. Support integration of Kafka connectors to cloud targets where required, ensuring alignment with client’s data delivery standards. Top must have skills: Java based real-time stream processing.
