Job Summary

We are looking for a senior IOS app developer to lead the development and maintenance of IOS apps. The developer will lead the entire app lifecycle right from concept stage until delivery and post launch support.

Job Details

Main tasks and responsibilities:Lead iOS developer. Depending on the skills set can be lead on one project and play a supporting role across others.Will need to work closely with other mobile app developers.Working directly with developers and product managers to conceptualise, build, test and release finished productGather requirements around functionality and translate those requirements into elegant functional solutionsWorking along the web developers to create and maintain a robust framework to support the appsWorking with the front end developers to build the interface with focus on usability featuresStandardising the platform and in some cases apps to deliver across multiple brands with minimal duplication of effortOptimising performance for the appsKeep up to date on the latest industry trends in the mobile technologiesExplain technologies and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholdersStrong OO design and programming skills in both Objective-C and SwiftFamiliar with iOS SDK (UIKit, Cocoa Touch, Core Data, Core Location, etc)Knowledge of SQLite and Core DataKnowledge of writing complex SQL queriesKnowledge of Push Notification, In-app purchaseExperience on web service integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML)Good understanding of OO programming and design patternsExperience building native appsExperience using social media APIsAds integration using a 3rd party ad serverExcellent debugging and optimisation skillsKnowledge about other technologies such as PhoneGap / IONIC would get preferenceKnowledge of creating Frameworks and static library would get get preference
