About the Role

We are looking for a Backend Developer with strong experience in Python and Django, and solid understanding of PostgreSQL. You’ll be working on a Django-based application with a well-structured backend and a focused API surface. The role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced development environment and can contribute effectively from day one.

You’ll be part of a small, agile team that values clean code, quick iteration, and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend components using Django
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas and queries
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for frontend or third-party integrations
• Collaborate with product, design, and frontend teams to ship features quickly
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of backend services
• Participate in code reviews and debugging

Requirements

• Proven experience with Python and Django framework
• Strong understanding of PostgreSQL (schema design, performance tuning, etc.)
• Familiarity with REST API development best practices
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Clear and concise communication skills
