Position Title: Sr Area Sales Manager (ASM)
Location: Delhi, India
Reporting To: COO, CBO
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Area Sales Manager (ASM)
/ Senior RSM to drive our business growth across Delhi/NCR and adjoining regions
(preferably Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana). The ideal candidate will have deep
expertise in surgical, infection control, or medical equipment/ consumable industries,
strong leadership skills, and a strategic approach to sales and market development.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership:
Drive business growth across Delhi/NCR and adjoining states. Achieve
monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and contribute to the company’s
revenue goals.
Team Management:
Lead, coach, and manage a high-performing team of 5–7 Territory Sales
Managers / Sales Executives. Foster a results-driven culture and build future
leaders.
P&L Management:
Take full ownership of regional Profit & Loss. Drive strategic cost control
initiatives, protect healthy margins, and ensure region-wise profitability.
Market Development:
Identify, penetrate, and expand key accounts including hospitals, institutional
clients, and government healthcare setups. Build strong relationships with
surgeons, KOLs, procurement heads, and distributor networks.
Strategic Planning:
Develop and execute region-specific sales strategies aligned with national
goals. Support forecasting, budgeting, and territory mapping based on robust
market intelligence.
Distributor Management:
Appoint, develop, and manage a network of distributors and channel partners
to optimize reach and ensure product availability.
Competitive Intelligence:
Track and analyze competitor activities and market trends. Proactively
suggest strategies and corrective actions to stay ahead in the market.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Coordinate closely with product management, marketing, customer service,
and supply chain teams for seamless operations and better market
serviceability.
Reporting & Compliance:
Ensure accurate and timely reporting through MIS, sales forecasts, funnel
management, and maintain compliance with company policies and processes.
Candidate Requirements
Experience:
7–12 years of relevant experience in sales within Surgical, Infection Control,
Medical Equipment, or Consumables industries, with at least 2–3 years in a
regional leadership role.
Market Knowledge:
Strong understanding of the Delhi/NCR healthcare market is essential.
Exposure to Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Punjab is highly advantageous.
Leadership:
Proven capability in handling, mentoring, and motivating a team of 5–7 sales
professionals.
P&L Acumen:
Strong track record of managing regional budgets, driving profitability, and
making strategic commercial decisions.
Education:
Graduate in Science, Pharmacy, Engineering. An MBA or postgraduate
qualification is a strong advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
o Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
o Highly analytical, data-driven, and strategic thinker.
o Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
o Target-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
o Proficient in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.

Pay: ₹50,460.53 - ₹130,688.14 per month
