Job Description

  • Lead and manage all financial operations including budgeting, accounting, disbursements, bonds, cash handling, provident fund (PF), gratuity, payroll administration, bookkeeping, internal audit, and budget control.
  • Ensure strict adherence to financial procedures and policies through a well-established concurrent system of internal checks.
  • Maintain and monitor Management Information Systems (MIS) to ensure accurate financial reporting and data analysis.
  • Provide financial oversight and input in contract management, and ensure alignment with organizational financial strategies.
  • Support the development and implementation of financial policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal controls.
  • Monitor cash flow and resource planning, ensuring the financial stability and liquidity of the organization.
  • Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors for timely audits and compliance.
  • Implement cost-effective measures and ensure judicious utilization of financial resources.
  • Stay updated with taxation laws, financial accounting standards, and insurance practices applicable to the healthcare industry.
  • Support strategic decision-making through data-driven financial analysis.

Qualifications:

  • University degree with Fellow Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) or Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (ICWAI) or equivalent.
  • OR a Postgraduate degree in Business Administration/Management with a specialization in Finance from a recognized university or institution.

Experience Profile:

  • Minimum 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in funds and finance management, specifically in large organizations or structured systems, preferably in the healthcare sector.
  • Proven expertise in resource planning, cash flow management, disbursement, accounting, and bookkeeping.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial accounting standards, taxation policies, and insurance protocols.
  • Demonstrated ability in the strategic utilization of cost management tools and understanding of the national financial market.
  • Strong adaptability to a dynamic financial environment, with a cost-conscious and analytical approach.
  • Proficient in working with computerized financial systems and ERP platforms, with an emphasis on automation and efficiency in financial operations.
