Job Title: Senior Accountant / Finance Manager Industry: Architecture and Planning Employment Type: Full-time Location: Basavanagudi, Bangalore Work Mode: office / Onsite About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant / Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting operations within the construction, general contracting, or architecture industry. This is a key role responsible for overseeing financial planning, reporting, job cost analysis, and ensuring compliance with industry best practices. Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Duties:Oversee the accounting operations of the company. Regularly communicate with Project Managers on topics such as bonding, insurance, and contract agreements. Contribute to the development and execution of financial plans. Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial reports. Coordinate with external accounting and audit firms for monthly and annual close-outs. Provide budgeting and reporting support to Senior Management. Manage cash flow across company and project levels. Supervise accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) teams and functions. Collaborate with project management to ensure compliance with accounting standards and analyze job cost reports. Develop and implement standardized accounting procedures across operations. Strategic Duties:Design and implement accounting/operational processes to support business growth and organizational change. Cultivate strong relationships with financial institutions, banks, insurance providers, and other key stakeholders. Prepare special analytical and trend reports to aid decision-making. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (mandatory). 7–8+ years of progressive accounting experience. 2–4 years of industry experience in construction management, general contracting, or subcontracting. Proficient in job cost accounting and financial reporting. Strong analytical, leadership, and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
