Senior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee and manage our accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records, preparing financial reports, maintaining compliance with regulations, and supporting budgeting and audit processes. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Manage general ledger functions and ensure accurate posting of journal entries. Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions. Assist with internal and external audits. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies. Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory returns. Monitor cash flow, working capital, and forecast financial performance. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. Supervise junior accountants and provide guidance as needed. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s or CA Inter preferred). Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax laws. Proficiency in accounting software Tally Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.). Excellent analytical and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in handling audits and liaising with auditors. Familiarity with ERP systems and financial automation tools. Knowledge of inventory accounting and cost control.
