SAP Security Consultant

JOB OFFER in PUNE:

Role Summary:

We are looking for a Senior SAP Security Operations with deep experience in SAP BTP, SAP S/4HANA Roles and Authorizations to lead the future SAP operations team.

This role will be based in India and will play a pivotal part in ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient access management across our SAP landscape. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Roles & Authorizations Management

• Design, build, and maintain single, derived, and composite roles using PFCG, ensuring least-privilege principles.
• Implement and govern Fiori authorizations: Fiori catalogs, groups, spaces, and pages.
• Maintain role transport strategy across Dev–QA–Prod environments in collaboration with Basis.

Security Operations

• Handle day-to-day security administration: user creation, role assignments, critical access reviews.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting using SU53, ST01, SUIM, SU24, and authorization trace analysis.
• Review and resolve authorization errors in both GUI and Fiori environments.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

• Conduct SoD conflict analysis, mitigation, and remediation in alignment with internal controls.
• Collaborate with audit and compliance teams during internal and external audits.
• Support the integration of SAP GRC Access Control or other SoD tools (Xiting, CSI, etc.).

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in SAP Security.
• Expertise in:
• PFCG role design and authorization concept for S/4HANA.
• Fiori role integration.
• OData and UI5 app security.
• SoD analysis and rulesets.
• SAP BTP and SAP 4 ME.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills for resolving complex authorization issues.
• Good understanding of business processes and SAP authorization objects.
• Familiarity with SAP GRC, SAI IAG, Xiting, or comparable tools.
• Strong communication skills and experience working in global support or delivery models.
