Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced SAP ABAP Consultant to join our SAP team in Chennai. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in ABAP development, including classical and interactive reports, enhancements, forms, and interfaces. The consultant will work closely with functional teams and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop effective technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and deploy custom programs and enhancements using ABAP.
• Work on SAP standard objects like Reports, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancements.
• Create and maintain Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, and Adobe Forms.
• Develop and troubleshoot ALV Reports, Interfaces, and Workflows.
• Collaborate with SAP Functional Consultants to deliver solutions based on business needs.
• Provide support for existing custom developments and handle incident management.
• Ensure high-quality documentation for developments and changes.
• Participate in technical design discussions and code reviews.
• Follow coding best practices and adhere to SAP development guidelines.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Core ABAP, OO ABAP, ALV, BAPI, BADI, User Exits, and Enhancements.
• Experience with Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, and Adobe Forms.
• Knowledge of IDOCs, RFCs, and ALE.
• Good understanding of data dictionary objects, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with at least one functional module (e.g., MM, SD, FI) is an added advantage.
• Exposure to HANA-based development and OData services (optional but desirable).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• SAP ABAP certification is a plus.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
