Sales Training Manager

Job Description

The Sales Training Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing training programs that enhance the effectiveness and performance of the sales team. This role focuses on improving product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer handling skills to drive business growth and meet company targets. Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver effective training programs for new and existing sales staff. Conduct regular training needs analysis to identify skill gaps and areas of improvement. Design training materials, manuals, presentations, and e-learning modules. Organize onboarding training for new hires and continuous learning sessions for existing employees. Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness using metrics, feedback, and performance data. Collaborate with sales managers and leadership to align training with company goals and strategies. Stay updated on industry trends, sales techniques, and competitive products. Support sales teams with coaching, field observations, and on-the-job training. Maintain training records and prepare reports on program outcomes and improvements. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, HR, or related field (Master’s preferred). Proven experience (2+ years) in sales or sales training roles. Strong understanding of sales processes, CRM tools, and performance metrics. Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
