The Skills and Qualifications Strong programming ability — ideally in Rust , or excited to learn it quickly. C++ or low-level systems experience also valued. Deep understanding of Linux internals, networking, and performance profiling. Experience with crypto exchange APIs (especially Binance ) and real-time data processing. Thinks logically , clearly , and probabilistically — uses data, stats, and reasoning to drive technical decisions. Bonus: Experience with kernel bypass (e.g., DPDK), high-throughput messaging, or hardware-aware optimizations. Bonus: Familiarity with market microstructure or trading systems. The Compensation For strong grads : $40,000 – 50,000 USD per year For experienced hires : Compensation will depend on prior experience and demonstrated performance Discretionary bonus and performance-linked upside available A fast-moving, meritocratic environment where engineers ship directly to production and see impact quickly
