About the Role

Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

You’ll work closely with our developers, product team, and other stakeholders to ensure our platform is robust, secure, and delivers a seamless user experience. If you’re excited about contributing to a cutting-edge crypto project and take pride in breaking things to make them better—this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze product requirements and technical specifications.
• Develop comprehensive test plans and detailed test cases for new features and releases.
• Execute manual test cases efficiently and evaluate outcomes for quality assurance.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA or Trello.
• Perform regression testing to ensure previously developed features still perform as expected.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with developers and product managers to ensure timely releases.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in testing processes and QA best practices.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, providing insights from a QA perspective.
• Stay informed about trends and tools in software testing and (optionally) the blockchain industry.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in manual software testing.
• Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman.
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, software development life cycle (SDLC), and bug life cycle.
• Proficiency in creating clear and concise test plans and test cases.
• Familiarity with bug tracking systems such as JIRA, Trello, or similar tools.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and ability to validate backend data.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience testing blockchain/Web3 applications (wallets, DeFi, DApps, etc.).
• Familiarity with crypto wallets, smart contracts, or dApp testing.
• Exposure to automation testing frameworks.
• Understanding of security practices in Web3 QA environments.
• A passion for crypto and curiosity to understand underlying technologies.
