Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Exp: 6-8 yrs

Location: Pune

Calypso with end to end Functional Testing with Api Concept

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain robust and reusable automation frameworks for both web and desktop applications using Java, Selenium, and TestNG.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts across UI, backend, and APIs.
• Perform desktop automation testing using tools such as WinAppDriver, Winium, or equivalent.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools.
• Leverage BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or equivalent platforms for cross-browser/device testing.
• Collaborate with QA, developers, and product teams in an Agile environment to define and validate test strategies and test cases.
• Write SQL queries to perform backend data validations and integrity checks.
• Participate in sprint activities and contribute to test coverage metrics, defect analysis, and reporting.
• Conduct code reviews, maintain documentation for automation suites, and support framework enhancements.

Required Skills:

• 6–8 years of experience as an SDET or QA Automation Engineer.
• Strong expertise in Java programming and test automation design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and framework development.
• Proficient in desktop automation tools like WinAppDriver, Winium, or AutoIt.
• Experience with API testing using RestAssured, Postman, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of Git, GitHub, and GitHub Actions for version control and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with cross-browser/platform testing using BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or similar tools.
• Experience in writing and optimizing SQL queries for backend validation.
• Solid debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
