Job Description

Experience - 1 - 3 YearsLocation – Kolkata

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented QA/Test Engineer with 1–3 years of experience in software testing and a solid understanding of the Trade Finance domain. The ideal candidate will work closely with product managers, business analysts, and developers to validate business processes and ensure high-quality product releases aligned with international trade and banking standards.

Key Responsibilities

Understand and analyze functional/business requirements related to Trade Finance products such as Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees, Bills for Collection, and Supply Chain Finance.
Create and execute detailed test cases, test scripts, and test data for functional, integration, and regression testing.
Perform end-to-end testing of trade finance workflows, document processing, and payment/settlement modules.
Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA or similar, and collaborate with developers for timely resolutions.
Participate in daily scrum meetings, sprint planning, and retrospectives in an Agile environment
Ensure compliance with banking standards and regulatory guidelines through thorough test coverage.
Prepare test reports and provide QA sign-off for releases.

Required Skills

1–3 years of experience in software testing, with at least 1 year in the Trade Finance domain.
Strong knowledge of Trade Finance instruments: LC, BG, LC Bills, Collections, etc.
Good understanding of banking workflows and compliance aspects related to Trade Finance.
Hands-on experience with manual testing and exposure to API testing using Postman or similar tools.
Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools like JIRA, TestRail, or HP ALM.
Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
