Job Description:

Next Big Technology (NBT) is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented QA Engineer with 1–2 years of experience to join our growing team in Jaipur. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in software testing concepts and practices, and hands-on experience with test case creation, bug tracking, and various types and levels of testing.

Key Responsibilities:

Understand and apply SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes within the QA framework.

Follow the STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle) from planning to test closure.

Create, review, and execute detailed test cases based on business and functional requirements.

Perform different types of testing including functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.

Work on various levels of testing such as unit, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.

Identify, report, and manage defects throughout the bug life cycle using defect tracking tools.

Collaborate with developers and the product team to resolve issues and ensure product quality.

Maintain documentation and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Required Skills:

1 to 2 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.

Sound knowledge of SDLC and STLC methodologies.

Familiarity with manual testing techniques and documentation.

Understanding of test case design, execution, and defect tracking.

Knowledge of types and levels of testing.

Clear understanding of the bug life cycle, defect severity, and priority.

Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
