Role Overview

We are looking for a mechanically inclined, dynamic Project Manager who can research, plan, coordinate, and execute projects across TRL’s wide technology portfolio. The ideal candidate will be client-facing, self-driven, and capable of handling DPRs, technical documentation, and cross-department coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Research & DPR Development

• Prepare and update Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) across business verticals
• Conduct techno-commercial research for feasibility studies and planning
• Benchmark industry practices and help in project structuring

Client Interaction & Proposal Management

• Lead discussions with clients to understand requirements and present tailored solutions
• Draft client-specific proposals, concept notes, and execution plans
• Act as the primary point of contact for client communication during project planning

Execution Coordination

• Coordinate with design, procurement, finance, and execution teams
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables
• Manage internal trackers and ensure alignment with leadership directives

Reporting & Senior Management Interface

• Report project progress to senior management
• Assist in board presentations, strategy updates, and business reviews
• Support MD/CEO on cross-functional strategic initiatives

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in project execution, client management, or techno-commercial roles
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (English, Hindi & Gujarati)
• Ability to manage complex timelines, stakeholder expectations, and detailed documentation
• Exposure to sectors like water treatment, energy, dairy, or chemical processing is a plus

• Able to work under tight timelines and manage multiple tasks
• Comfortable dealing with senior stakeholders and industrial clients
• Analytical mindset with execution discipline
