Production & Quality Supervisor

Job Title: Production Supervisor – with Quality Control Experience Location: Vadodara Department: Production Reports To: Production Manager / Plant Head Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Production Supervisor with strong Quality Control (QC) experience to oversee daily production operations while ensuring products meet our high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production staff, optimizing workflow, minimizing waste, and implementing quality control protocols. Key Responsibilities: Production Supervision Plan, organize, and oversee daily production schedules to meet output targets. Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers and operators. Ensure optimal utilization of materials, machines, and manpower. Monitor and maintain proper shop floor discipline and 5S standards. Report production data and submit daily, weekly, and monthly output reports. Quality Control & Assurance Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards. Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues. Coordinate with the QC/QA team to ensure testing procedures are followed and documentation is complete. Maintain documentation for ISO/quality audits and support audit readiness. Team Management & Training Provide training and guidance to workers on production and quality standards. Evaluate team performance and implement improvements to increase productivity and product quality. Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Safety & Compliance Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations on the shop floor. Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to operational safety practices. Requirements: Education: Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Experience: 3–5 years of experience in production supervision with hands-on exposure to QC procedures. Skills: Strong leadership and team coordination abilities. Proficient in quality tools (5S, Root Cause Analysis, CAPA, etc.). Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems. Knowledge of production planning software/tools is a plus. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in paints and green building materials. Exposure to lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
