Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and organized Production & Quality Manager to lead both our production operations and quality assurance systems. This combined role is crucial for our success, as you'll ensure efficient manufacturing, consistent product quality, and strict adherence to food safety rules. If you're a hands-on leader who understands food production and quality standards well, this is a great chance to make a real impact.
What You'll Do:
Production Management:
● Plan and Oversee Production: Develop and carry out detailed production plans to meet our goals, manage resources efficiently, and ensure orders are completed on time.
● Improve Processes: Analyze current production methods to find and fix problems. You'll implement strategies to make production more efficient, reduce downtime, and increase our capacity.
● Use Data Tools: Utilize Microsoft Excel and other digital tools to analyze data, create reports, and improve how we plan and monitor production.
● Solve Problems: Use strong problem-solving skills to quickly address operational issues and find effective solutions.
Quality & Food Safety Management:
● Build Safety Systems: Implement and maintain essential food safety and quality systems, including HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and GHP (Good Hygienic Practices).
● Create Documents: Prepare and put into action all necessary quality paperwork, such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality control documents.
● Provide Technical Support: Use your technical knowledge of equipment and analytical skills to ensure product quality and troubleshoot any issues. You'll also help with internal checks and external audits.
● Ensure Compliance: Make sure we strictly follow FSSAI Regulations, ISO 22000 (Food Safety Management Systems), and Codex Alimentarius guidelines. You'll stay updated on the latest food safety laws.
Overall Responsibilities:
● Keep precise records for both production and quality, including output, waste, efficiency, quality checks, and compliance.
● Prepare detailed reports on how production is performing, audit findings, and actions taken to correct issues.
● Work towards continuous improvements in both production efficiency and product quality.
What We're Looking For:
● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
● 1-3 years of proven experience in a role combining production management, quality assurance, or similar responsibilities within the food industry.
● Demonstrated ability to create and carry out effective production plans and manage quality systems.
● Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and other relevant digital tools for data analysis, planning, and reporting.
● Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
● A solid understanding of food manufacturing processes and equipment, with great attention to detail in documentation.
● In-depth knowledge of HACCP, GMP, GHP, FSSAI Regulations, ISO 22000, and Codex Alimentarius.
● Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
● Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for working effectively with our team and external partners.
● Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹390,000.00 - ₹650,000.00 per year
